restoring settings after a reinstall of your plubin

I deleted our Ajax pro plugin accidently a month ago.
I used the “delete” after deactivating it in the WordPress plugin
I wanted to confirm that all our settings which were extensive are saved and once I reinall the Ajax Pro plugin that will be there, restored in the plugin?

Hi,

Yes – if the data was not changed in any way in the database, then everything will be the same as before. Fortunately deleting the plugin will not delete the data, exactly for this reason.

Is that the case when reinstalling the plug that is updated. Or should I install the prior version and then update it?

If you have the prior version, then install that first. It shouldn’t make a difference, but just to be sure.
