Results box direction

Hello,

First off thank you for this wonderful plug in – it made my prospective clients life much easier!

I wanted to ask you how can I control the direction of the results box? Does it always have to show below the search field, or can I control which direction it can go? If you can look at http://www.mellostudio.com you’ll see that the results top area gets cut off because the entire page shifts up a little. So I’m wondering if that can be fixed by changing the direction results can show above the search field.

Your advise is appreciated.

Hi!

While you can’t change the direction, you can use the results shortcode to control the results position: https://goo.gl/6JBWiM
So you can basically place the results shortcode above the search bar to be displayed there.

In your case, I rather suggest turning off the effect that scrolls to the results, as the top bar is in a fixed position and hovers over the page. You can turn that off on the Layout Options -> Results behavior panel: https://i.imgur.com/CctfJr1.png
