Results dropdown closes too quick

Search results dropdown disappears to quickly. How can I increase the time it appears, or have it not disappear automatically at all please?

Hi,

The results drop-down should not disappear automatically, unless the user clicks on the ‘close’ icon or somewhere else on the document. You can control that under the Layout Options -> Results Behaviour panel: https://i.imgur.com/Sslwt69.png

Let me know if the result list still automatically disappears, that could be caused by a 3rd party script.

Ah right. I deactivated all of the other plugins and it still happens, but the close timing seems to coincide with the themes built in carousel/slider changing slides/images. Have you experienced that before?

Hi,

I believe I have seen something similar before. The slide change triggered a window click event, which was then causing the results to close. The problem is, that I think the only thing you can do is turn off this option: https://i.imgur.com/Sslwt69.png

I usually suggest a modification/custom code in these situations, but if the case is, that the carousel change is triggered by a document click event, then that is not possible to prevent without changing the carousel code itself.
