Results show on SEARCH page

Hi,

I’ve successfully set up a number of search instances – limiting search to a specific custom post type. As I am entering a search term in the search bar, the pulldown correctly shows a list of pages that correspond to the custom post type on which the search form is focusing.

However, when I fill out a search term in the search bar & hit RETURN, I get of course redirected to the search page. That is fine, but what I notice is that the search page also includes pages & posts that do not correspond to the custom post type to which the search instance has been restricted.

I guess that somehow the standard WordPress search intervenes, rather than Ajax Search Pro. Can this be changed within the config settings of your plugin?
