Good day
Your plugin, can you search based on phrases?
i.e. “Houses for sale”, “Sale of houses”
Is there anything left to configure?
Tests have been carried out and only searches based on keywords:
i.e .. sale, houses, land.
This shows unwanted results.
Your response is appreciated in advance.
Best regards.
February 28, 2020 at 4:16 pm #26055Hi,
Well, either at least one of the entered phrases need to be within the selected fields (title, content, categories, tags etc..)
Best,
You can use the additional keywords field in case you want to manually add additional search keywords to your items.

I performed tests, but with phrases, it shows results that are not desired.
The phrases must be in quotes, so that you do not consider each word as a keyword to search.
Please consider this functionality, it would be very useful.
Thank you.
Best regards.
February 29, 2020 at 9:27 am #26064Hi,
In that case, you can also try experimenting with the keywords logic, or enable exact matching:

One configuration may make it better for you.

About the first configuration suggestion: This is how it is configured (please check the attached file), but it shows results that are not desired,
Regarding the second suggestion: We are working with Index Table engine, doesn’t support exact matches.
Best regards.

I would still recommend trying the second suggestion, to see if it’s better – for the secondary logic, the plugin will still use the index table engine (regardless of the warning message).

It was configured according to your indication
Improved search engine performance, but
1. Slider, in all fields, that have been configured like this:
. Price
. Total area
. Built area
. Bathrooms
. BedroomsIn preview mode – All OK, all sliders are
In the frontend – everything ok? Only one of them shows well: price, the others are NOT displayed correctly.
Please, your help, so that all the fields configured with slider, are displayed correctly.
2. The Ajax search engine, found the phrase that contains plural words: sale of houses in yarinacocha (houses – is plural), due to a field created by the user, which contains phrases (keywords together) with the words in plural and singular, combined and in sentences.
Please review the attached file for more details.
Best regards.

1. On my end they look perfectly fine: https://i.imgur.com/w2Vrbkr.png
Try clearing your site/browser cache, it should resolve the problem.2. It depends on the keyword logic as well. I am not sure how that field is stored (that the user entered). If it’s a custom field, then you can configure the index table to not index custom fields, or only selected custom fields, and that is not going to match.

March 4, 2020 at 6:36 pm #26138Good day:
When the fields configured with sliders are in the first column, they are displayed correctly.
When they are in the second column, it does not show the slide buttons.
Strange behavior.
Best regards.

Oh I see the problem now. I think it is due to the column layout. Make sure to use a different one: https://i.imgur.com/hUHpsoM.png
Column layout is generally problematic in some browsers, it is going to be replaced with a newer “grid” soon. The handles are actually there, but because of how the items are clipped, they does not show up.

If you can work with phrases (and each phrase, it is treated as a keyword) and that is very good.
1. Set numerical value (high value) to:
General options -> Logic & Behavior:
Minimum word length: 222. I create phrases (each phrase in a keyword)
to. I select taxonomies to use (in this specific case: action, categories, city), I prepare plural and singular versions,
b. I add terms: in, of,
c. I combine the words,3. The phrases created, I keep them in each property in:
Ajax Search Pro Settings:
Additional search tags for this post (space separated). And everything works great.
Suggestion:
Consider, later, to create an option: that allows generating automatically the phrases (keywords) based on the taxonomies that the end user decides to use (Keyword Generator), to create the possible combinations and the result is automatically placed in:
Ajax Search Pro Settings:
Additional search tags for this post (space separated).Best regards.

Please review the suggestion. It is very important to have this functionality. Unless it seems better.
Best regards.
