Search Button: how to redirect to results from search instance in new tab

Hi Ernest,

hopefully my last question:

General Options -> Logic & Behavior:
Override the default WordPress search results with results from this search instance? is set to ON
And this works perfectly.

Frontend Search Settings -> Search Button
Action when pressing the search button: Redirect to Results page location: Open new tab
Unfortunately it redirects to the default WordPress search results.

Is there a way to redirect to results from this search instance in a new browser tab?

If you would need Login data… still the same as yesterday…

Hi Wolfgang,

Well, the redirection means, that it redirects to the wordpress results page, and replaces the results with the ones you can see in the live search results list. That seems to be working okay, I am seeing the same results on the results page, as on the live results window.

If I understand correctly, you want to open a new window to display the search results the same layout as the live results, but unfortunately that is not possible.
