Search button redirecting not working

Hello,

We have installed and configured your plugin. We want the submit button to redirect to the default search page of wordpress.
We found the setting as attached. But when hitting the sumbut button the searchbox will close.

Can you please check if this is working as it should?

Hi,

I logged in to check, but I don’t see any search bars created. If you want the magnifier button to submit to the default results page, then make sure that this option is also changed: https://i.imgur.com/sBHxS1y.png
That one controls the magnifier button.

Thanks for your reply. I have added your wp-user to the NL site. You should be able to see the topbar i have created with Ajax Search Pro (check screenshot).

I have changed the settings as you explained, but its still not working as expected. Can you have another check on our setting?

Hi,

I see what the problem is now. You are using the compact search layout, and by default is automatically closes the search bar upon clicking the search icon or the button. You can turn that off here: https://i.imgur.com/860XWSY.png

I have tried this, but it still not woking as expected.
I would like the icon and the search button on the first hit to open. Then inserting the search request the serach button should redirect to the search page.
