    Hi there!

For some reason, the search is not searching my listings. I tried using the index search and the regular one. I’m sure it’s a simple setting that I am overlooking, but I can’t seem to find it. Can you please take a look for me?

Thanks again for the awesome plugin!

    Hi Mike,

It did not return results, because the taxonomy filters you have are for the ‘property’ custom post type, not for the listing, and the city filter had the ‘Ajax’ city selected – which does not match any listing obviously. (as listings does not have that taxonomy)

I have added an ‘All cities’ option to the filter, so initially the search will ignore that, and will be able to return the listing results: https://i.imgur.com/cvNSNsD.png

If you want the filter to be ignored by custom post types that does not have the taxonomy/custom field defined in the filter, you can turn on these options: https://i.imgur.com/VaXRbLQ.png

    I hope this helps!

    Hi there,

I’m still having trouble with one aspect. I can’t seem to detect any custom fields. For example, under the General Options -> Sources screen, there doesn’t seem to be any custom fields for my post type under “Search all custom fields?”.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Have you tried to enter the custom field names you are looking for into the search field there: https://i.imgur.com/tchwux1.png
It will not list any custom fields by default, you need to search for it by name.
