search in content and search in post excerpt not working

Hi it’s me again,
im having another issue.
In the settings>general>source i enabled The search in content and search in post excerpt but it dont work on the search end
when searching for words in content or excerpt it doesnt give any results

I have tested it and i noticed that the search only applies only on the old posts but not on the new one i created

This is really a big deal, my client is already upset and confused about all the bugs
can you please take a deeper look on it?

Sure!

By looking at your search configuration, I believe the “By author..” custom field filter is the issue. The default value does not match the results.
Try fixing that, by adding a “Select one” default value like so: https://i.imgur.com/LRZujCF.png
That way the filter is not active until a valid value is selected.
