Hi,
I’m having trouble getting the plugins to search any tags. There is option in General->Sources that says “Search in terms? (categories, tags)”. Even if I click that and try to search using some of my tags, it doesn’t find anything. I need the search to return my posts either using tags or custom taxonomy.
If I create a new custom taxonomy type for example keywords and add some keywords to my post, search will find and link to these keywords but not to the posts they’re attached to. So that doesn’t work either.
My WordPress site’s language is set to Finnish. There is one article in the system with multiple tags for example tennis. If I try to search with that tag nothing is found. Search box is on the front page of the website.
I have also turned off “Fulltext search” and it doesn’t seem to make any difference.
I’m providing the WordPress admin login details here so you can try to see what’s going on.
Thanks!

January 20, 2015 at 10:19 am #3551Hi!
I’ve found the problem. The search was still using fulltext for some reason. I’ve removed that conditional statement, now it should work correctly.

And big thanks for your quick fix! Where did you remove the conditional statement from? In case I need to resolve this again.
January 20, 2015 at 10:29 am #3553It was the plugins/ajax-search-pro/search.php file lines 213-215, those lines are now currently inactive.

January 20, 2015 at 10:34 am #3554Ok, thanks.
Will you do a clean fix to the next version of the plugin so I can update the plugin in the future?
January 20, 2015 at 10:37 am #3555Of course. This should not be an issue anymore in the future versions.
Best,
Ernest Marcinko
