    Hi there!

I have been enjoying the Ajax Search Pro on my website (https://www.wildguitars.co.il) for a few years now; the currently installed version is 4.14.6. I updated to the latest version (4.20.8) on my staging website (https://dev2.wildguitars.co.il) in preparation for updating on the live website as well.

I noticed that after the update, the quick preview that appears under the search bar is no longer working. I have attached a screenshot from the live site for your review.

I’d appreciate your assistance with resolving this issue. I did not build our website, nor do I know how to code. I simply followed the update instructions (disable old version, delete it and install new version), so from here I really have no idea what I’m doing.

If you require admin credentials for the live website as well, please let me know.

    Thanks!
    Tom

    Hi,

The site error console reports numerous errors, because the jquery script is defered: https://i.imgur.com/NX2kYPN.png

Check your cache minify configuration, and make sure the jQuery is not defered, otherwise scripts may or may not be able to attach themselves to the jquery script.
On the live site the rocket lazy loader somewhat delays the script loading, so it kind of resolves the problem, but on very fast net speeds it would be still visible.

    Best,

Thank you for your prompt reply, Ernest, I really do appreciate it. Apologies for not noticing these errors…as I mentioned I am not a web developer. 🙂 I will pass this information along to my developer and will let you know if I require any further assistance.

    Best regards,
    Tom
