How can I enable the search field to search product variations in WooCommerce?
I have a product with 2 color variations: green and white.
I want both to show up in the search box.
April 8, 2019 at 8:24 am #22067Hi,
Make sure to select the Variations post type under the General Options -> Sources panel: https://i.imgur.com/WqlfhDR.png
Best,
That should do the trick.

April 10, 2019 at 11:43 pm #22113I did this, however there is no way to distinguish in the results what the variable product is. All the results are the same, they all have the same picture, product title, and description.
April 11, 2019 at 9:19 am #22118Hi,
Well, you can set variation images on the WooCommerce variations panel: https://i.imgur.com/lF3MSav.png
That should show up with the variations. Also, try this configuration for the Primary title field: https://i.imgur.com/5QvA2mR.png
Best,
That is sort of a ‘hacky’ way to try to press the plugin to request the title again, and in case of WooCommerce it sometimes helps to get the correct stored variation titles.
