I’m using the Divi theme.
I’d like to be able to search by a tag but not have the tag result page appear in the search result.
Example:
I create multiple project posts, and tag them with the keyword “south florida”. I’d like to be able to search for “south florida”, and have all the posts tagged with “south florida” appear in the search result, however I do not want the “south florida” results page to appear in the search.

On the General Options -> Behavior panel if you enable the Search in terms option, the plugin will look within all the related terms (including post tags) for the post: https://goo.gl/BCkNIO
Alternatively, if you use the index table engine, you can select which terms to also index with the selected custom post types: https://goo.gl/4tFRHM
