Search results box detaches and moves to corner of page upon scrolling

Hello,

I’m trying to place the search bar in a sub-menu item in the main header navigation, so that when I hover over the Main menu item, the search bar appears. I can click on the search bar and type in the search terms.

The problem I’m having is that initially the search results box appears below the search box as expected, however when I begin to scroll on the page the search bar disappears (as it should once it loses focus) and the search results box resizes and jumps to the upper left corner of the window.

The behavior is the same with Ajax Search Lite and Pro versions. Also, clearing theme cache, changing themes, clearing browser cache does not help.

Is there a way to hide the search results window upon scroll?
