Firstly, I really like your search plugin!
Lots of options. One small oddity, though … in one instance when I search for “Victor” his blog posts show up but not is two books (woocommerce) … for others it works fine .. just this one guy. hehehe
Any idea why this might be happening?
May 11, 2020 at 11:46 am #27217Hi,
Thank you for the details.
I tried to search for “Victor” and got a few results, and on the bottom, under the “Books” group I am seeing two products: https://i.imgur.com/BjFMRE9.png
Is that not correct?

May 11, 2020 at 1:06 pm #27227Hello Ernest,
Unfortunately, those two books are not his. That’s what is weird.
One book shows up because it has the word “victorian” in the book description and the other book description includes a character name “Victor”. While that shows a good search his books do not display even when typing his entire name! heheheheach book has the title and slug like this “The Anathemas, A Novel of Reincarnation and Restitution by Victor E. Smith”
It’s probably some setting I mised.
May 11, 2020 at 2:03 pm #27230Indeed. I logged in to check the options, but everything seemed all right. Somehow those results got higher priority, so I have fiddled around a bit.
Best,
I have changed the following options:
– Enabled post type limit distribution, and increased the limit to 15 (5 each): https://i.imgur.com/Sj90sHN.png
– Increased the title random matching relevance: https://i.imgur.com/V2KcAXe.png
Now it should be a bit more relevant. You can play around with these options to find the best setup for your site.
