Hello Support-Team!
I have a question regarding the taxonomy/term search. I have a ton of taxonomy terms on my website, but i only want to index the parent objects:
For example:
Service #1
– Subcategory 1
– Subcategory 2
– Subcategory 3
Service #2
– Subcategory 1
– Subcategory 2
– Subcategory 3
I want to include the search parents only in the results (Service #1,Service #2). I’ve seen the option to exclude specific terms, but in my use case it would be much simpler if i only include the parents.
I hope you could help me out here.
Best wishes
Christoph
Hi Christoph,
There is no option for that in the back-end, but a it should be still possible via a custom coded solution. This knowledge base should help.
