Searching for Custom Field

Hello from Spain, I have just bought your plugin for WP Ajax Search Pro and I have a doubt about it.

In a website we hace a Custom Post Type called “Empresas” (Companies in english) with a taxonomy called “Polígonos” (Industrial Areas in Spain), each “Empresa” is asociated to this taxonomy.

So, what we need from Ajax Search Pro is in our HOME you can see the searching bar and below the field “Polígonos”, so the idea is that if we choose any “Polígono” the plugin shows al the “Empresas” (companies) that contains this taxonomy “Polígono”. This is possible?.

Now when you choose any “Polígono”, in the search bar shows all the “polígonos”, we want the same but with the EMPRESAS (Companys).

For example:
If you choose from “Seleccione un polígono:” Cartagena, in the search bar would show all the companies that have marked the taxonomy Polígono with “cartagena”.

Hi,

Yes, that is possible of course.

The issue in you case is, that you have the “Polígono” taxonomy selected to be returned as results. I believe you only want the “empresas” custom post type as results, and nothing else.
On the General Options -> Sources 2 panel, make sure that nothing is selected: https://i.imgur.com/cI9aZgP.png

That should very likely resolve the issue, as it seems your other configuration is probably correct.
