    Hello,

I have a post type on my site called ‘Playlist Posts.’ These posts use a shortcode to pull in playlists that are generated in the Cue Plugin (You’ll find the Cue playlists under ‘Playlists’ in the admin. There is a playlists page on the site that displays all the playlist posts (https://dev-sea-us-rise.pantheonsite.io/playlists/). I would like for people to be able to search for a playlist containing a particular song or artist. This is a development site, so right now there are just two songs by 1 artist, but soon we will have hundreds.

So, for example, if a person wanted to find the song ‘Headstone in Atlantis’, they could search that, and the playlist containing that song would surface. Or, if they searched for the artist “Lee Ahlin”, then any playlist containing a track attributed to them would surface.

Is this possible? I tried setting up a search form “Playlist Filter”, and using index search so it includes shortcode content but it’s not returning any results.

    Any help is much appreciated,
    Emer Kelly

    Hi,

Thank you very much for the details, it helps us a lot!

I found that the playlist posts stores the actual shortcode with the “playlist_shortcode” custom field, not in the actual post content. Then, on the index table option panel I added that custom field, and re-indexed everything. The keyword count went up from 1308 to 1532, so I am guessing that some more content is indexed now – hopefully the contents of the shortcode.

    Best,
