    Hi,

I am trying to understand how the autocomplete function should work. I do get autocomplete results, e.g. when I type “state” on https://env-fmsbsite-redev.kinsta.cloud/test-search/ I get a statement of best practices autocompleted

However I seem to have no way to “accept” this and search for it. I am used to using tab for this in other search bars around the web. I tried to look for a demo that has this feature but did not manage to find one. Can you assist? Thank you.

    Hi,

It works similarly as the google autocomplete, hitting the right arrow key will fill the autocomplete and trigger the search.
In the upcoming release the “tab” key is also being added as a trigger, it had been requested and it makes sense.

Thank you Ernest, adding the tab option will be great. With the upcoming release, do you mean the one scheduled for next week?

Yes, it’s looking good so far, so probably within 7 days.
