Show only matching result when search field empty

Hi there,

I’m trying to make a search bar that show automatically all the possible results (matchings filters) in the live search list, when the field is empty.

but I’m facing 2 issues :
– The live result list become visible only after search something and delete the search characters to show all the possible results, instead of showing them since the beginning. EDITED found solution
– I setups my search bar to search only “Page” that contain a certain “custom Field” which is working but only when searching,when the field is empty it shows me all the “Page’ instead of only the Page with my Custom field.

Any idea or i can achieve this?

Thank you very much for the details, it helps us a lot!

2) I logged in and checked the setup, and I don’t think you have set it up correctly. I assume you only want to show results where the “magasin” custom field value is “magasin”. For that, you should use a “hidden” custom field filter like so: https://i.imgur.com/TpQ7qHL.png
On the sources make sure to select the appropriate fields you want to search within.
