soft 404 > Search term string

Hello Ernest,

Ajax search plugin just created this page which is giving me a soft 404.

How can i remove it or mark as a 404?

Hi,

I’m not sure I understand, what do you mean by ‘created a page’, as the plugin does not create pages. The URL you have given is simply the search results page URL, that is default for WordPress.

Do you want to completely remove the search results page? In that case you might have to ask the theme author on how to do that. It might be also possible with a custom redirection .htaccess mod rewrite rule. The plugin has no effect on those pages unfortunately.
