Hello, I have installed the search engine and everything is ok, but I can not sort the search results by lower to higher price of the products. I think I have configured the plugin correctly. Attached is a screenshot with the settings. Can you help me with this? Thank you

    Hi!

Thank you for the proper details, it helps me a lot!

I have looked at your configuration, it looks okay, and it seems to be working as well. I have tried a few search queries, and the results are ordered by price in ascending order:
    – Search 1: https://i.imgur.com/SYgJTbn.png
    – Search 2: https://i.imgur.com/l0FO2rm.png
    – Search 3: https://i.imgur.com/FkpjEox.png
These all seem to be ordered by price in ascending order. Is the issue something else, or does it happen on different queries?

Hi. Thank you for your answer. I’m sorry, but I didn’t make myself clear. The way you’re telling me, the order is right. I mean when you hit the enter key and it shows the results page. Attached is an image capture for you to see the result. Thank you

    Hi,

Indeed, it looks like the search override has no effect there. Well, that could happen for a number of reasons.

Do you have any other search plugin active by any chance? If so, that could explain it, as it could override the results that this one tries to pass to the results page.
If not, then there is a chance that the theme might have a separate search method active within the code. In that case, I might need FTP access to try to debug it.

    Thank you very much!

I managed to resolve the problem. It was related to Elementor, and how it handles the search results override. I have made direct changes to the search plugin in order to overcome the problem. I will make sure to include this change in the future plugin releases, so you don’t have to worry about it anymore.
