Hi after i created sub categories, the category and the new subcategory is showing on front end according to hierarchy level without any issue.
but when i select a sub category and click search no posts are coming under that. (but there are three posts currently under that sub category)
why these posts are not appearing when i filter and click search? any solution?
March 7, 2019 at 6:20 am #21462So adding on to following issue,
i found out when i put a post only under sub category it will appear on search result after i filter it out from front end.
but if i include the post on both parent category and sub category that post does not show up on search results when i select sub category filter.
p.s – i just want to get the post appear when user select sub category and filter it out or user click parent category and filter it out. either way post should appear.
thanks
March 7, 2019 at 3:15 pm #21485Hi,
In that case, I think you should try changing the term logic from the default to this: https://i.imgur.com/S10Oi6o.png
Best,
‘At least one of the selected terms should match’ – in that case, if the item is within either of the selected categories, the plugin will consider it as a match. I hope this helps!
