Hi
On our site, we use “My Listing” WordPress theme to create appliance manuals listing
In this theme brands are taxonomy terms. And the types of the appliance are categoriesYou can look at the example here
https://troubleshooting.app/repair/test-page/
I try to filter “Appliance Brand” terms that are brands (Beko, Bosch, Dyson, etc.) https://troubleshooting.app/repair/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=appliance-brand&post_type=job_listing
by categories https://troubleshooting.app/repair/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=job_listing_category&post_type=job_listing like Washer, Boiler, Vacuum. There is one boiler, one vacuum and the rest seven are washers.A user should be able to find products by Type of Product ( Washers, Vacuums, Phones, etc) and see all the brands that fit under that Product Type. But as you can see at the /test-page/ the filter doesn’t work, unfortunately.
Can you help us please, and make it work?
Thanks

Filtering taxonomy terms by taxonomy terms is not possible unfortunately – as there is no relation between terms to terms in the database.
Best,
Taxonomy terms are only connected to post types – so the filter will only apply to post types.
