hi!
i would like to know if i can exclude all of the taxonomies shown in the attached screen shot. i want visitors to be able to search pages and posts, but i don’t want them to search anything else. can i exclude all of these taxonomies without affecting the pages and posts searches? and if so, i’m assuming that will speed up the search results. yes???

If you only want posts and pages as results, then make sure to only choose those two post types in the general options -> Sources 1 panel: https://i.imgur.com/aX3xu55.png
The best is to have no taxonomy term exclusions at all – that actually makes the search slower.
