The search results don't show pdf files although the media files are indexed

I created the index with media files (e.g. PDF-files). But the media files are not part of the search files, especially when i am searching for a phrase which is included in the pdf-file.

Could you please help me?

Okay, so I have checked, but the search bar in the header is not coming from Ajax Search Pro, so by default the core WordPress results will be triggered. When I try searching via the plugin search, then it seems to be okay.

If you want the default search bar in the header to trigger the ajax search pro query, then you can choose a default search bar override here. That will force the results from that search bar even if the results page is visited via the default URL or search form.
