KeymasterHi again,
I cannot see the search on your site anywhere. How did you place the search to your site?
1. Did you try to use the search shortcode anywhere on the site?
2. Or have you selected the search instance you created to override the default search? http://i.imgur.com/do3Nme4.pngIf so, can you link me to a page where the search is active?

KeymasterAlso, make sure you have the latest version installed (4.8.0) – it has numerous fixes around performance and categories.

KeymasterHi again!
Your configuration was correct, I have possibly found the problem. I’ve logged in via FTP and did a debugging on the search query code, and there some categories were incorrectly excluded.
I have fixed the corresponding code part, it should return results now as expected. Thank you for the correct log in and FTP details.
Also, I have noticed that you have lots of records. If I may suggest, you can try a different search logic (AND logic) to get better related results. The default (OR) logic setting is to maximalize the results count, but in your case I guess you would like better related results instead of lots of matches.
For more information, you can check this part of the documentation if you want: https://wpdreams.gitbooks.io/ajax-search-pro-documentation/content/search_logic.htmlFebruary 23, 2016 at 6:31 pm #7797nesika

KeymasterI’m sorry, I forgot to save the options on the back-end, my mistake.
The problem was the the “Category/Taxonomy terms logic” options was set to “At least one of the selected terms should match” – meaning that at least one of the selected categories must match the post in order to display. I remember changing the option before my previous answer, but I must have forgotten to save it.
It should definitely return much more results now.

ParticipantHi Ernest,
Thank you for your help. but no it does not work 🙁
Please see the attachments:
1. When I don’t choose the category, results overlap with “Articles” category underneath.
2. When I choose “Buy” category (which has many posts) nothing happens.
Please help me with this
Thanks
