Hello,
I use your search engine on a site that I have to translate into English (I am in France). But I can’t translate the content of the engine. String translations allow you to translate the backoffice, but not the elements that are displayed on the site.
On the English part, you can find the engine in the blue part, where there is the button “access to filter”:
https://stnicolasdebourgueil.fr/?lang=en#The items that the search menu searches for are stored in ACFs. These ACFs are filled in custom post. Will the engine search for the information in ACF, or rather in the custom post. The question I have is where do I need to have the translation of the menu items….
Thank you in advance
SincerelyDecember 11, 2018 at 11:24 am #20348Hi!
Thank you for letting me know this. The custom field filter values and labels were indeed missing the string translation registration. I have logged in via FTP and corrected the functionality in the plugin code. Now you should start seeing the values in the string translation module like so: https://i.imgur.com/Iynn3wh.png
I will make sure to include this in the upcoming release.
