I have set up a filter system for my website that use custom fields. Whenever I change the ordering of results settings, they don’t seem to apply to these because they are custom field filters and not generic filters.
I have tried changing the ordering to “custom field ascending/descending”, without any results. I have tried it for both strings and numbers and it doesn’t seem to work.
How can I get the results to be displayed in alphabetical order for these custom filters?
For reference, I am testing this filter on the following webpage: http://project-elite.com/test_xyz .
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thank you for all the details. Currently, I see you use the ‘ajax_sorting_order’ custom field for ordering, which is empty for most fields.
If you want to order by the title, you can simply choose the order by title ascending/descending option: https://i.imgur.com/clN5x0L.png
It is going to work, even if you have a custom field as the result titles.
If you also want to have the auto populated results ordered alphabetically, just use this configuration: https://i.imgur.com/lT65X5H.pngThat should do the trick.
