Here is where I added the search: https://probatesop.info/search-test/

When I search for a basic PowerPoint using the search phrase “pineapple,” it does not pull up the file on this page (this file only has one word, “pineapple”): https://probatesop.info/powerpoint2/

The word “pineapple” is also in this PowerPoint, but it is also unable to be found in the search: https://probatesop.info/powerpoint1/

Also, when I search the word “Court,” it is unable to find this document (which has the word “Court” in it): https://probatesop.info/identity-management-guide/

I indexed many times and checked the mimes, and am unable to identify an issue.

Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the details!

Can you please tell waht the login URL is? I tried the wp-admin and wp-login.php defaults, but I am getting redirected to a 404 page: https://i.imgur.com/0JA9tpO.png

    Try this: https://my.a2hosting.com/clientarea.php

Click “C Panel Login” (In green)

Click one of the script icons

At top right, click the icon that looks like a box called “All Installations”

Click on the littie man under “Admin”

🙂 Thank you for looking into this!!!!

    Thank you!

The index table engine is nicely configured, however it was not enabled: https://i.imgur.com/B4emOf0.png
I turned it on for you, can you please check now?

Thank you so much!!! 🙂 🙂 I feel so silly!

So, I hid the word “Pineapple” on Slide 5 of this powerpoint: https://probatesop.info/powerpoint1/

When I use the search (https://probatesop.info/search-test/) to look for “Pineapple,” it doesn’t seem to pull up this Powerpoint.

Do you happen to have any suggestions? Or maybe I am just misunderstanding the capabilities of the search? Thanks for any guidance you may be able to provide 🙂

    Thank you!!!

    You are very welcome!

While the extractor script is clever, and .pptx files are usually easier to extract, there is still a possibility to miss a few words from the file contents here and there, since these are structured files, not fulltext documents. Most of the words should be extracted just fine, I would say like around 90% efficiency, but there is always a chance of some hit and miss.
