On our website there are certain products which uses words like “Touch Screen” and “touchscreen”. So what we want is if user type “touchscreen” then those products which has “touch screen” should also display. And same if user type “touch screen” then all the results of “Touchscreen” shows display. Currently the AJAX Search Pro plugin is not showing the required results.

    Hi,

The simplest and most effective way to get around this is using the synonyms feature. That lets you set global synonyms, which apply to all posts.
Unfortuntely we can not implement a language recognition or AI engine to the plugin to resolve these cases automatically – because it runs on your local server.

Some search plugin authors run 3rd party external search servers to access the customer data for a monthly fee. Those engines are usually more responsive and have such features – but we would like to avoid monthly subscription based models, and get the most out of a local search engine.

    Best,
