We are upgrading from lite to get better speed and visual functinoality.
Not quite sure how to export/import from lite version!
Can you take a look?

Once you installed and activated the Pro version, then this documentation should explain how you can import from the lite version.
Then, you can choose which post types to show as results. For visual customizations, you can change many things on the theme options panel.
To improve the search performance, you can read this tutorial.
