Hi there–I have a somewhat complex member site and I’m using an ASP search box in several places.
The one I need help with right now is a member search box you can see at this URL (this is a dev clone of the production site): https://1tmsdev.com/member-directory/
I need to be able to have multiple user roles per user which I’m accomplishing using Justin Tadlock’s Member plugin. What I’d like to do is if one user role for a user matches the ones listed in the search box’s settings, I need that user to appear in the search results.
So if they are a TMS Member user role, they need to be displayed in the Member Directory search results even if they have another user role in addition to TMS Member.
Right now, as soon as I add a 2nd user role, they drop out of the search results completely.
Is there a way you could tweak the user search so it just needs to match any user role?

I’m not sure to be honest, I will need to check the queries directly in order to be able to suggest.
Can you please check the log-in details? I’m not able to log-in to the site back-end with them.
Best,
I will also need temporary FTP access as well, as I would like to check on the role fields and how they are stored exactly. Maybe I can come up with a modification.

Thank you! I was able to log-in now.
I have tried adding a user to two non-excluded roles and it was appearing in the results as expected.
This is what I did:
– I randomly picked a user ID=74, Andrew Geister, he was associated with the ‘Committee-TMS Member’ group
– As a test, I have added him to another group, which is not excluded within the search settings, to the ‘1Student TMS Member’ group: https://i.imgur.com/eWrz9i2.png
– I tried the search, and it was returning him correctly: https://i.imgur.com/SlobNBF.pngIs this not correct? Is it happening differently for another user?
Best,
