Hello,
I have searched extensively but can’t determine if Ajax Search Pro (ASP) can be used as a profile field or to populate a profile field in BuddyPress. I would like to allow a subscriber to search for another subscriber (with a different role) using ASP and to save that relationship as part of the profile. i.e. an artist is linked to a studio where artist and studio are two role types.
Thanks,
Patrick
Hi Patrick
The plugin is only to be used for search – it cannot store any profile field information, if that is what you are looking for.
Searching based on user meta and xprofile fields is possible, the fields you can choose on the General Options -> User search panel: https://i.imgur.com/tK8piz0.png
