    And now I finally see that the issue was not the taxonomy, it was that my form was not using the index! Got it. Closed.

    Ok, I was confused by a few similar taxonomy names. We need to index one called bp_docs_tag. It is not currently listed as an available taxonomy. What can we do do make it available to Search?

    -BuddyPress Docs is itself a plugin for the main Buddypress Plugin. I do not believe that they are stored as Media attachments, but rather they have their own folder in the Uploads folder.

    -Right now it appears that some of the tags are simply being ignored by the search. So they don’t appear at all.
    -Correct, they are a custom taxonomy, and that taxonomy has been added.
