That works!! Is there any way we can customize it though to have the grey bar and include only the categories that our last one did? (see picture of previous search bar [top] compared to new one from code you sent [bottom])
I apologize, but we cannot give access. Below is a list of the sub-categories that are not pulling up the correct blogs, as well as a link to see what blogs SHOULD be pulling up for these sub-categories. Basically, only parent categories are showing correct results, however, COVID-19 and Recent News do not have parent categories and their blogs still aren’t pulling up. Also, attached are two screen shots of all of the categories we have for our blogs.

These are our most recently published blogs. The search doesn’t show blogs that relate to the category checked, it just shows our most recent blogs no matter what category checkbox you check.
If I check the “Ag” box, all of our ag blogs should show up in the results since we have checked the post category as ag. However, this does not happen. Only a list of our most recently published blogs show up.I have attached a screen shot of our most recently published ag blogs so you can see that we have blogs for this category that are checked for the category “ag” on the backend, but they are not showing up when checking the ag checkbox on the Ajax search.
We do not feel comfortable giving access to our FTP and WordPress back-end. I apologize for the inconvenience.
All of our blogs are assigned to a category, so clicking any one of the check boxes I know there are multiple blogs that should show up for each specific category. Even checking the parent category, blogs that do not have that category checked are showing up. It seems as though our latest to oldest blogs keep showing up instead of by category.
