KeymasterHi,
Thank you for the details!
Have you managed to contact the theme support? I would rather not make any modifications to the theme if the developer has a better suggestion.

ParticipantI think it is safe if you change the child theme

KeymasterDid they recommend anything via their support? Let me know.
I am more than happy to help, but I can’t promise anything as this is a theme related issue.
I tried to access the website, but it shows me a 2fa message: https://i.imgur.com/r1LOwgH.png
Can you please also add temporary FTP details? Editing files via the theme editor is not safe.April 21, 2025 at 9:10 am #53748info_LJ2U

KeymasterSure! Thanks, that works, however I have no access to the theme file editor: https://i.imgur.com/jM1wBVf.png
Can you please add temporary FTP details as well so I can look at the theme files and locate where the integrated search form is?
I can try it via the wordpress theme file editor, but that is much more dangerous, if I make any mistake it will instantly cause a server error which I can’t recover. Please mind that I can’t promise anything as this is a theme related issue, but I will try to help as much as I can.
Also, let me know if the theme support responded, that would make this super easy.

KeymasterThank you!
Good news! I managed to find a solution. I have copied the
greenmart/page-templates/parts/productsearchform.phpfile to the child directory and changed the search to the ajax search pro shortcode.Make sure to clear the cache, and it should be visible.

I should be fine even after i update the theme right?
And how to change the colour of the search ? the site using green, and your search is red. a bit mis match. I can’t find a way to change the colour.

KeymasterYou are welcome Irwan! Yes, this will stay with the updates as it is in a child theme.
You can change the search theme here, and customize all the layouts under these settings.
