KeymasterNo, you don’t have to delete the other one.
I don’t know what else I can suggest. This is extremely hard without even seeing the configuration. Is there no way I can check this on a test or development environment?September 12, 2019 at 12:57 pm #23946KeskenyNyomda72

KeymasterHi,
Thank you, I can see the front-end. However the plugin search bar is not present on any of the pages. Can you please link me to a page where the plugin search shortcode is used, so I can test it out? thank you!

ParticipantSorry, I dont understand. Where should the search bar be? 🙂
May could you just send me an exported instance whati is properly configured to find attachments content too?
Is it possible?September 13, 2019 at 8:29 am #23956Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterHi,
The home search bar is not the plugin shortcode, it looks like the default theme search bar. You can use the plugin shortcode (in page contents, or within visual page builders) or the plugin widget, as well as the automatic search replacement to replace the theme search with this one.
Unfortunately exporting across different installations will not work, as there are server specific things required for the export files.

ParticipantOkay, I made the automatic search replacement and its working now, however a little bit slowly.
How can I use the theme-s search bar design?September 13, 2019 at 9:40 am #23962KeskenyNyomda72
ParticipantHow can I change “Search Results for:” text and “no result” text. I attached screenshots.

KeymasterHi,
The plugin cannot copy the exact design, but you can change most of the options regarding the design under the Theme options on the search instance settings. You can change colors/fonts/width/height/margin/shadows etc..
Those texts are not coming from the plugin, those are theme related. I suggest asking the them author about them.
