ParticipantThank you very much.
It was the cache to blame.
Thank you again.
PS: I haven’t upgraded the plugin yet.

ParticipantHi,
thank you.I’ve checked again the speed and it takes 2.5 to 7 sec (actual speed on page with a digital chronometer).
And that’s on the second time I search.Thank you for the info about WooCommerce.
Kind regards,

ParticipantThank you very much for the detailed explanation (it’s 100% logical too).
Results are around 2” faster now.
If you want to send me the beta ver. (And it doesn’t make any changes to the settings I’ve input) I’d be glad to install it myself :).
Kind Regards,

ParticipantIt’s ok now, thank you very much for your help.
One more thing, there’s a big concern about the speed.
It takes a full 3-4 sec to load the results (and I only have less than 10 titles in the DB right now).
Compared to a competitor’s search functionality (www.book-it.gr) it takes more than 2x to lead the results (the competitor’s results show up after 1 1/2 sec most of the time).
Why is that? Can I do something to make it speedier?

ParticipantI am not sure what you mean.
You mean I must move “<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[wpdreams_ajaxsearchpro id=1]‘); ?>”
below the header and before the photo slider?Akis Apostoliadis
ParticipantI managed to put it after the cart icon but now the results are displayed on the upper part of the header (to check out what I mean put “Life” search term in the search box).
I would like the results to be displayed below the search box.

ParticipantYes, I know.
This is working. But I want to change the positioning and put it between the nav menu and the shopping cart.
And it’s not displaying at this position.Akis Apostoliadis
ParticipantHere you are!
