Thank you so much Ernest, I do apologize for the inconvenience… but it so happens that our clients are our best teachers 🙂 What I meant by that was that you see something new every day…

I am only recent with website design and building my websites so I have another sector in which I used to be really excellent at, communication systems programming… but something new comes around every day when it comes to code..website design is no different it so turns out 🙂

Again, thank you. This ERE Plugin that I use is something that has forced me to keep creating work arounds for, instead of solutions. This issue that you fixed was above my expertise but the other issues I could figure out but could never apply an actual fix, rather a diversion if you will.

It is for this reason that I am starting to look at another solution for my Real Estate Plugin…something a bit more friendly to my Themes and Core Files. This ERE plugin really doesn’t play well with other plugins or themes, or core files. At first I thought that I was just missing something and that it was human error but, after your reply…it is something I am going to have to do because, although my site isn’t completed yet, it does have some customers and when this site starts performing the way I intend for it, I am afraid cleaning up after this plugin is not going to work any longer. I will however have to use this for a short while still…so your effort is very much valued!!!

I am actually sorry that you had to sit with this issue, but something good usually comes from these..not only frustration…

Thank you so much again for your incredibly support and your timing of response. I am forever grateful!

    Thank you Ernest,
Have a great day further and all the best!

    Hi Ernest,

I managed to sort out the other error which was easy to fix… yesterday after sorting out the issue, I noticed another error which I overlooked because my website always has this error:
“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 ()”

The above error doesn’t bother me and has been there for a while, because everything works fine and it has been there since the beginning but goes away with different browsers, so again not a problem…but this following error pops up with ASP Activated and goes away when Deactivated… it did start with the new code you gave me on Monday (sorry, good code, so I suspect another issue)… problem is, it is still interfering with my site because my maps aren’t showing… when I take the code out, all is back to normal..

My Real Estate Plugin Developer won’t help because the issue started with another plugin…

    Please help, here’s the error:

The first error shows that it comes from the /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

Error 1:Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
Error 2: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token )
    at Object.error (property-search-map.min.js:1)
    at i (jquery.js:2)
    at Object.fireWith [as rejectWith] (jquery.js:2)
    at y (jquery.js:4)
    at XMLHttpRequest.c (jquery.js:4)

Thanks for your response Ernest 🙂
Definitely I have traced the issue to a plugin, so I am finding time this afternoon to sit with it to sort it out.

Your code was key 😉 yesterday…perfection, thanks for that!

    Have a great day further.

    Thank you,
    Kind Regards.

    Hi Ernest,

It’s working like a dream, thank you 🙂
I did notice though that I get the following error which it hasn’t done before but the ASP doesn’t get loaded here and also the problem seems to be related to Google rather, so I am finding a solution – I doubt it’s on your end but if it looks familiar, please let me know, other than that THANK YOU SO MUCH :), I really appreciate it! …Here’s that code

Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.propertynow.co.za/for-sale/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/mapfiles/close.gif’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

    Have a great day further.

    Thank you,
    Kind Regards.

    Thanks Ernest,

Ok, two part answer to the solution. Yes, 🙂 It did work, thank you, thank you, thank you!
But, I had to revert back to the default configuration – it puts a zero in the custom field, so a user cannot just start typing as the result is for example: 0,200,000 instead of 200,000.

Also, the zero cannot be deleted.

I think it’s just something small that can be sorted out – 🙂

    Let me know.
    Thank You,
    Kind Regards.

    Hi Ernest,

Thanks for your response. I actually got it working perfectly, I just basically used the Custom Fields Dropdown and set the sample value to 1II1 Bedroom, 2IIBedroom and so on..

I left the “Any Amount of Bedrooms”‘s Value as IIAny Bedrooms.

I am not sure if the above makes sense, but it seems to work by leaving this as a default it displays every property regardless of number of bedrooms.

    Thanks for your response,
    Regards.

    Ernest,

I will certainly leave my best review because, I told you before, you are a RockStar!
You have not only helped me with my problem, but I also learnt something today.

Everything is working perfectly and I am so happy. As mentioned before, if I need a point in the right direction…I may ask, but I think I’ll be OK from here on.

Expect the 5 Star Rating… I am very happy to… You have been more than helpful!

    Thank you,
    Kind Regards.
    Bruce

I will work this into my website tomorrow

    Sir Ernest Marcinko,

I am certainly impressed and at the same time super grateful!
You should be knighted for superfast coding. I love what you have done, and that, my friend deserves a HAPPY CELEBRATION!

Thank you very much, I may (or not) bother you here and there in case I have any issues but that is all I needed. I can see that it works, now it is just up to me to get my stuff sorted based on your example.

You truly rock, and you are a rockstar, thank you so much!
I definitely learned today as well, which I love.

I will give you feedback but I know everything will be ok!
Enjoy your evening (well eve in South Africa)

    Kind Regards.

Of course, I also think it is much simpler than going back and forth without you seeing what’s cooking.

    Let me do this.

I am going to set up a subdomain where you can do some testing.
I will set it up for you and add two properties.

I will start with it now and, give me say, an hour or so and I will send you the login and the FTP details…

Hang ten, will get back to you shortly…
