ParticipantPerfect, I did try that but maybe I was looking at the wrong language at the time, it’s worked perfectly 🙂

ParticipantIs it possible to change the default text also, for example “Search here…”?
DavidFHenry51
ParticipantThanks.

ParticipantThis would save me time on future updates, but your right, I’m not sure I trust removing tabindex in the first place.

ParticipantThanks, I’ve done that. Is there a way to override it?

ParticipantMy client is asking if it’s possible to embed the results into a page rather than opening as part of an Ajax option. They are really asking us to replicate how standard wordpress search works. Is it possible to do this?
so when the user clicks Return or clicks the icon button it opens/lands on a search results page with your results (not default wordpress).
Is this possible or anything like this?

ParticipantHi Ernest,
No, I mean on the ajax results. see attached

ParticipantHi Ernest,
I’ve realised that WP default search will have different results now that we know how to prioritize our results in Ajax.
With this I’d like to modify how the results are displayed, currently they stretch the width of the searchbox, I’d like to alter this a little bit so that:
Search results to 100% to a maximum of 1100px to match the width of the theme.
The results match the height of the page, not fully but stretch to the bottom of the screen from where they begin, like 100vh – 123px for the top (desktop)What do you think?

ParticipantThanks Ernest.
Do you think it’s possible to get a WP Bakery page to have content in results?
DavidFHenry51
ParticipantGot it, this presents new problems though.
The results page is very messy, is there a way to clean this up or is it down to the theme?
some of the results, especially the prioritized landing pages are built with WP Bakery, they don’t have an excerpt so the content is blank, is there a way to fix this?

ParticipantYou’re a star!
