Hi,
I’d like to replace the “More results (123)” option with an “All results” link that goes to a full results page.
I would also like it to go to a full results page when the user clicks return, just like default WP.
I’ve read this how to doc but I don’t think it’s what I need.

You can defined the more results option here, to redirect to the results page.
Best,
These options will also help with the return button action to set to redirect to the results page as well.

July 15, 2020 at 2:16 pm #28498Got it, this presents new problems though.
The results page is very messy, is there a way to clean this up or is it down to the theme?
some of the results, especially the prioritized landing pages are built with WP Bakery, they don’t have an excerpt so the content is blank, is there a way to fix this?
July 15, 2020 at 2:35 pm #28500That is theme territory as well. The plugin can only tell the results handler which posts to fetch, but cannot do anything about the layout.

Do you think it’s possible to get a WP Bakery page to have content in results?
July 16, 2020 at 8:02 am #28510I think it should be possible.

July 16, 2020 at 12:15 pm #28516Hi Ernest,
I’ve realised that WP default search will have different results now that we know how to prioritize our results in Ajax.
With this I’d like to modify how the results are displayed, currently they stretch the width of the searchbox, I’d like to alter this a little bit so that:
Search results to 100% to a maximum of 1100px to match the width of the theme.
The results match the height of the page, not fully but stretch to the bottom of the screen from where they begin, like 100vh – 123px for the top (desktop)What do you think?
July 16, 2020 at 12:28 pm #28517I understand, but results on the results page are printed and styled by the theme – you will have to ask the theme author about these.

On the layout options panel, you can adjust the results box width. You can use vw as unit as well. On the theme options -> vertical results panel, you can set the max height. To trigger the max height, set the viewport size to a high number.
Best,
I hope this helps!

July 24, 2020 at 2:05 pm #28677My client is asking if it’s possible to embed the results into a page rather than opening as part of an Ajax option. They are really asking us to replicate how standard wordpress search works. Is it possible to do this?
so when the user clicks Return or clicks the icon button it opens/lands on a search results page with your results (not default wordpress).
Is this possible or anything like this?
