Hi,

I was trying with fixed width using pixel values but those wouldn’t be dynamic. I added the entire Group block inside another Group block and for some reason the Search Box is now contained in it. I don’t know what’s happening technically but it’s working. Maybe you could understand why this works.

made some progress. Changed position to “Fixed” in the COmpact Box layout and adjusted the padding.

Problem now is when I click on the icon, the search box opens but begins all the way from the left of the screen ignoring the padding set in the theme and the results box is also beyond the screen.

I want it to have equal padding so that when user clicks on the Search icon, the search box opens and there is equal padding on both left and right. Can you pls suggest fix to this?

TEsted this with default WP Search Block and same behaviour. Looks like an issue with Query Loop
