I just deinstalled the plugin, deleted the tables in the sql database and reinstalled the plugin. Now the inifinite spinning is gone. But the problem with attachments shown twice is still there.

Yes, WPML makes attachment content translatable.

Last questions:
1. “Use the image of image mime types as the result image?” is not working. It shows no PDF-Icon for the search results.
2. PDF files have a caption and a description. If both fields are filled, the caption will be shown and not the description. When the caption is empty the description is shown. How can i make it so that only the description is shown?
3. I tried to use HTML-Tags for description (linebreaks and lists) but these are ignored in search results. Is it possible to show them or at least somehow make it possible to use linebreaks?

I have tracked down the problem that it shows the same pdf twice. I have WPML installed and the title of both languages is the same for this file.

Would be nice if you could patch it so that only the files of the actual language are shown in search.

The other problem with infinite spinning is still there though.
