ParticipantAh, sorry I forgot to tell you that my language is Lao, not English. So, not sure ກ, ຂ, ຄ will be the same order as A,BC. Now I select “Title Ascending” , it’s still the same. In my language, ກ is same to A. It will stay on top. When I input data, I start with ກ first, and then ຂ, ຄ, and other alphabets respectively until finished.
Or I have to do this way, now I have a dictionary book, just count how many words in total. For example if there are 10,000 words in total, use that 10,000 value for the alphabet ກ to be on the top.
When it comes to making an online dictionary, ordering is important. If you type in a word ກ the dropdown suggestion would list proper order and this will look professional and in the way that it should be.

ParticipantPlease have a look at the alphabets in A. For example, if I want these alphabets to be in the order accordingly like this, what will happen if I forget to input “Ant” before jumping to “And”? So, if later I input “Ant” it would be in the ordered position after “And” as it is ordered by Date ascending, right? So, with this case, anyway to fix it?
If no, is it possible to to manually input the ordering value into them as normal but just want to start the earliest alphabet with value 1, not 100 by default or whatever values and countdown to 1 because I don’t know how many words to be added.
– A
1 Apple
2 Angle
3 Ant
4 And
– B
– CBy the way, I am creating dictionaries. So, ordering is important to me. I need to make sure before adding a huge number of words. If ordering is mistake early, I would spend a huge amount of time to reordering as there’re so many words.

ParticipantWork fine, thanks! Just one last thing, I’m almost done with this. Please see this screenshot https://www.dropbox.com/s/nzttp9nww50al41/ajx.png?dl=0. As you can see, when the text is long, it is not responsive well. Do you have an option to adjust this or need to use media query to fix it?
Thanks.

ParticipantThe point is I want the dropdown width to be the same as the container. So I select the “block” layout as you recommended in this topic https://wp-dreams.com/forums/topic/replace-close-icon-increase-dropdown-with/. But selecting the block layout now changes the the way of dropdown. So, it’s not possible to use the block layout and have the dropdown pattern that displays in the “hovering (default)” layout?

ParticipantI’m done, thank you.
