KeymasterHi!
Well, the results page is out of control of ajax search pro unfortunately.
Usually there are blocks/widgets depending on the theme or page builder you are using that allow you to place that information to the page. Check the results page settings or the builder, there should be one somewhere.

KeymasterHi,
Thank you very much for the details, it helps a lot!
Sure! So the issue is casused by a long-url protection from the server side, where too much information is being sent because of the search filter states. The checkbox filter states have to be sent all at once and therefore it creates a too long URL. It rarely happens, only in cases when there is way too many options in a checkbox filter.
To resolve this, I have change the filters layout to a multiselect+search here for every filter box. It is very similar to the checkbox behavior, except the user can search and select the ones they want to filter by and also resolves the URI issue as much less information is sent to the results page via the long URL.
I hope this helps!

KeymasterThat’s a good idea, having two separate searches might be the trick.
All right, I’m happy to help when I can, let me know.

KeymasterThe search does not seem to yield any results to any keyword though, so I suspect some kind of a configuration issue somewhere.
On the screenshot the number of indexed items seems very low to me, it says it’s only 18. Can you make sure the products and variation are selected for index, save then create new index?

KeymasterHi,
Sure! So to make it work, make sure this option is enabled, then you need to re-index to apply. Then on the search instance settings make sure the index table is enabled.
If all goes well, this should do it.

KeymasterThank you for your kind words!
I know it is a bit cluttered 🙂 The front-end filters area is going to be reworked to make it much easier in the future.
Well, the results pages are out of control of the plugin, usually the WooCommerce Products results page is not capable of displaying anything else as products and vice versa for the regular results page.
I can try to take a closer look if you can add back-end and sftp details to see if there is a way to override them, but the theme might be taking over control.

KeymasterHi,
Thanks for the documentation link and the information.
The reason it’s not working is that there is no integration with that hook, but based on the documentation it might be possible.
Can you send me a copy or a download link to that plugin so I can test it?I can’t promise anything though as this is a 3rd party integration request, however if it’s not too complicated I can definitely make it work for the upcoming version. The documentation looks very promising, but I can’t tell for 100% unless I try it.

KeymasterHi Minh Do,
For the search settings, make sure to change the position to hovering, that will work for desktops better. On hover position you can change the backround here.
The post type filter state depends on which post types are selected. On the Search Sources -> Post type search panel make sure to deselect the posts and it will be unchecked.
I hope this helps!

KeymasterOkay, those might be uncategorized items. Can you try turning off this option to see if that works: https://imgur.com/9bDZkjF
