KeymasterHi,
Sure!
First, make sure the correct post types are selected on the search sources, often times it’s completely missed. Then, if you are planning to redirect the results to the results page, check if the results page override was not disabled by accident, it should be turned ON by default.
Sometimes inclusions or exclusions can cause similar issues – make sure nothing is excluded nor included in the first place, so it does not conflict with the potential results set.
And finally, items which may not be tagged or categorized are shown by default. If you prefer not displaying those items, you can turn that off here.

KeymasterHi,
Sure!
This is the correct documentation, it will explain everything: https://documentation.ajaxsearchpro.com/layout-settings/compact-search-box-layout
Ernest Marcinko
KeymasterSure! I have made the same file for mobile, after clearing the cache it should show up.
Please note that I can’t guarantee anything here, as this is a theme related issue.

KeymasterHi,
The issue with the magnifier is that you have enalbed the compact search box layout but it’s implemented incorrectly. If you turn it off, it will resolve the issue.
1. Okay, for that you want to disable the live search trigger on typing here. Then set the magnifier and return actions to trigger the live search.
2. In case you are choosing individual categories to display, you can set the checkbox states here. Make sure the settings are also visible as a block.

KeymasterYou are welcome Irwan! Yes, this will stay with the updates as it is in a child theme.
You can change the search theme here, and customize all the layouts under these settings.

KeymasterHi,
That is strange and could indicate a deeper issue as the plugin can’t deactivate itself, unless it is triggered via the maintenance menu. Same with the settings, it can’t change the settings without user input. Are you sure you didn’t have a server rollback of some sort?
The most likely explanation for the de-activation can be a failed update hook in wordpress. It happens when the server is overloaded for a second right after the update is finished and WordPress does not re-activate the plugin. It is very unlikely you will experience that again.
I checked the search as well, tried a few phrases from the product tabs, but they seem to be indexed properly. For example searching “innovation” gives me these results, where in this case the word only appears in the tabs, so therefore it must be indexed.

KeymasterThank you!
Good news! I managed to find a solution. I have copied the
greenmart/page-templates/parts/productsearchform.phpfile to the child directory and changed the search to the ajax search pro shortcode.Make sure to clear the cache, and it should be visible.

KeymasterYou are very welcome, and thank you for your kind words 🙂
Have a great day too!

KeymasterThat blog post thing could be some sort of an overrid issue somewhere.
If you want, you can add back-end details and I can try to investigate it a bit further.
