This took me a while, but I found the issue. So apparently it has something to do with shortcodes and timing of the index, but I don’t exactly know what the underlying cause is.
Luckily the solution is super simple, I just turned off this option under the index table settings. It caused many issues before, I suspect that during the editor “opening” process something happens with a custom field, which the plugin picks up as an “update” then somehow the IDs get mixed up under the hood in the WP core, but it’s only a guess.
I think I will put a massive warning sign on that option in the next update, it solves some issues on some installations, but causes a lot of problems in regular cases.

The results page is not controlled by the plugin, it’s a theme (or page builder plugin) feature. Try checking the theme options, there is usually a customizer where you can change the search results archive page layout.

Unfortunately not yet – but in a future release this is definitely going to be implemented.
We decided not to bother with it yet as it is a major performance hit. I know many plugins have this feature, and it works greate until there is 1000+ more products, then it goes sideways very quickly.

I assume you are reffering to the Evenimente post type? You may have set up something incorrectly, when I try to display any of the posts from that post type via the back-end, I get a blank screen – so the search results are okay, it’s actually something with the post type or the post type template.
If these are part of a repeater or some other field, then make sure it’s not selected for results.
Yes – Elementor is a good choice for that. You can create all kinds of archive page templates as you like.
