Here is a tutorial for that exact setup. Basically we used blocks in the gutenberg editor (any other editor will work too) and placed the search, results and the settings shortcodes there.

May I ask what browser are you experiencing the issue on? I have tried a few major ones, but I get the the same exact page back when I click the back button. The additional hash is added to perserve the browser state in case of selection.
I’m afraid we can’t do that (lack of time).
Elementor has changed a few things in the latest updates, making integrations easier, so there is a chance that these addons are going to work once we are done with the new integration.

I mean you can try, but it is very unlikely that it will work. These integrations must be very specific, and at the time of development these were the only two widget to get around it. We will definitely add more support later on.
Oh, I’m sorry, I was not implying that. I meant, that while I am more than happy to help, I can’t guarantee anything when it comes to customizations.
Unfortunately we can’t do custom support, I would love to offer, but there is barely enough time to do all the tasks so I wouldn’t be able to offer a quality service.
