There is a better way in my opinion, by changing the checkbox logic here: https://i.imgur.com/NTMG5qR.png
That way, it is sufficient to have either of the categories checked to yield a result belonging to any of the selection. I think it will work in your case the best.
Oh I see. It looks like it was only very heavily cached. I saved the search settings to re-generate the styles and cleared the wp-rocket cache, now it seems to be all right.
Okay, then I suspect there might be a firewall or conneciton issue to the remote.
Can you please add temporary back-end and FTP details? I will run a debug session directly on the code to see what exactly is happening under the hood to find the problem.
Can you try activating it again to see if that disappears?
On the remote it looks okay, maybe the option was deleted on the local during a cache clear event.
